Learn to weave your own shawl using the Kromski 32” Rigid Heddle loom.
A complete one-to-one hands on course conducted over 2 consecutive days, in the comfort of my weaving room in Warminster.
You will learn all aspects of creating a handwoven shawl using a chunky James C Brett yarn. The course includes how to select appropriate yarn depending on your project, how to warp the rigid heddle loom, weaving your 2 metres of cloth, changing colours in the warp and weft, and wet finishing your cloth and correcting any mistakes.
The course is conducted over 2 days (total of 8 hours tuition) starting at 10am on the first day, and completing on the second day.
The loom is loaned to you overnight to weave the cloth in the comfort of your own home.
Yarn is provided, though you are welcome to bring your own.
